CET ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

CET Academic Programs is a study abroad organization based in Washington D.C. that has been designing and administering innovative educational programs abroad since 1982. They offer semester and summer study abroad programs in China, the Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Spain, Syria and Vietnam, as well as short-term, customized programs worldwide. CET is known for our high academic standards, innovative approaches to teaching and careful student management. Their programs integrate students into their overseas communities and lead them to create lasting relationships with their local hosts. VIETNAMESE ADVANCED SUMMER INSTITUTE (VASI)

Vietnamese Advanced Summer Institute (VASI) is an intensive overseas Vietnamese language summer program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad program, currently administered by Center for Southeast Asia Studies, University California Berkeley. VLS has been a partner with the VASI program since 2004.
VASI provides eight weeks of intensive Vietnamese language instruction each summer in Ho Chi Minh City to American undergraduates and graduate students. This program is considered to be the equivalent to a full year's academic work. The program focuses on language acquisition and consists of a structured academic program of four hours of language instruction every morning and optional individualized tutoring sessions in the afternoon.
